I'm starting to work out a technique that I like. it involves a lot of wiping, painting, drawing and more wiping. oh yea! most importantly, more fun than frustration. but don't get me wrong, frustration is good too.
oh! and i'm officially going to the illustration academy this summer. WORD.

Drawing of one of those print sketches. haven't drawn like this for a while.
- quills and ink are awesome. - white acrylic gouache is my new best friend. - it's good when my hands get covered in art supplies. - mess up? who cares?!
More stuff from the moleskine. i included the drawing of the girl, because i way prefer the drawing over the paint. actually i usually like the sketches/under drawings of paintings more than i like the finished paintings. which probably is not a good sign?
People have been asking me what pens i use. so...i give you....
The Pentel R.S.V.P ball point pen. FINE.
People also ask me if i've tried the famous James Jean SKB pens. i have. and i don't really like them. they are really great pens but i'm attached to my Pentels. go Pentel!!!!!
more stuff. wish i started painting in my book earlier. very therapeutic, nice to lose track of time and get lost for a little bit. all watercolor except girl with the megaphone (oil).
